Do your students love film? Spend more time on social media than sleeping? If so, they could win a £10,000 voucher to spend on courses at Met Film School, based at Ealing Studios.
Met Film School is London’s leading provider of practical filmmaking courses, such as directing, producing, screenwriting and acting for film. Famous for the Ealing Comedies, Ealing Studios is the world’s oldest continuously working film studios. But what defines British comedy? Do we still have our own unique brand of comedy?
If your students love Vine and feel they can define their perspective of British comedy in six seconds, they could be in with a chance of winning. All they have to do is submit their Vine and tweet it, using the hashtag #MetComedyChallenge, and fill out the competition form on http://po.st/mfscomedy. More details on the competition as well as terms and conditions can also be found here.
The competition is open until the end of March, and the only rule is that entrants have to be over 14 to apply. So get your film studies, media studies and English students motivated and help them become Britain’s next comedy talent.
