Scratch Your Nose is a fun, interactive and creative event taking place on Friday March 13th – Red Nose Day - where students use Scratch programming to design and make their own games with the aim of raising funds for Comic Relief.
Gazoob is hosting an interactive morning at Innovation Birmingham, Birmingham Science Park and schools can now sign up to either attend the event with a group of students, or create their own events in their schools.
Those schools attending the event will then spend the morning creating games using Scratch under the guidance of game industry veterans and the whole event will be live streamed from scratchyournose.com. Schools and coding clubs around the country are invited to join in remotely.
Donations will be gathered by asking people to donate to play the games created by the students.
For further information about Scratch Your Nose and to sign up for either the event in Birmingham or for resources to run your own event, visit scratchyournose.com. Or follow on Twitter or on Facebook.
