On Thursday 15 October, education-lovers across Europe are coming together on Twitter to celebrate #EducationDay; the first European Twitter initiative that aims to unite the entire educational community in a global conversation that celebrates learning and highlights how to use Twitter to research, get inspired and inform. It will be a great opportunity to connect schools, colleges, universities, students, teachers and other educational organisations in a new way. So far, more than 170 institutions from UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Germany and Italy have registered to participate and here is a full list https://twitter.com/TwitterUK/lists/educationday-2015
#EducationDay will bridge the gap between organisations, teachers and students through Twitter, inspiring the community with new learning opportunities, career advice and so much more. Here in the UK, schools and organisations across the country will be getting involved in a number of creative ways on the day – from teacher led Twitter Q&A sessions, to ‘day in the life’ Periscope sessions featuring schools and local business influencers, live from the classroom.
Sign up using the URL below if you want to get more involved and be sure to follow the hashtag and discover the latest information as the day draws closer.
