Teacher Support Network and its sister charity, Recourse, already do enormous amounts to support teachers, including offering 24/7 telephone and online counselling and advice, as well as working to influence research and policy – but in order to enable them to meet the needs of as many educators as possible, a clearer picture is required of what is happening at the chalk-face, right now.
To that end, the charities have launched independent research into the health and well being needs of the education sector, and are looking for volunteers to take part in qualitative telephone or online interviews, which should take no longer than 30 minutes. The results from these will be combined with a larger scale quantitative survey, before release in the autumn.
