National Schools Partnership and BNY Mellon have re-launched the hugely successful Young Sports Reporter of the Year competition for 2014. This free competition, open to students aged 7-14, helps meet literacy objectives as well as developing young people’s creative writing skills and their technical accuracy.
The resources include competition leaflets, top tips and teacher notes as well five bespoke films, all of which will help your learners to write a stirring newspaper report on The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.
