Teachers and school leaders across the North West are going to debate some of the most controversial topics in education, at the second annual School Leaders Conference in Manchester.
The event takes place at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford, on Tuesday 20th October, and will look at issues including extremism and the prevent agenda, health and obesity, the national curriculum, and childcare provision.
The conference will feature guest speakers including the Chancellor of The University of Manchester, Lemn Sissay MBE, who also represents a wide variety of organisations, including the Southbank Centre.
The conference has been organised by schools in the region and aims to further emphasise the fact that North West schools are leading the way in active collaboration. Andy Crane, the Manchester based broadcaster, will chair a panel discussion of key speakers in the afternoon.
This year, delegates have the opportunity to shape the conversation with a live poll on the day, and YOU have the opportunity to decide the questions by emailing your suggestions to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), or tweet using the handle @schoolled.
