Children of all ages across the UK are being encouraged to take part in QUIT’s Smoke-Free Family Christmas campaign. QUIT is the national charity which helps people stop smoking, and, following on from the success of last year’s festive efforts, the initiative is to help families to give up smoking this Christmas.
Secondary school pupils can write a rap or poem or design a poster inspired by ‘what a smoke-free family Christmas means to me’ - and earn the chance to win £1500 for a class trip.
The campaign also includes a video competition where families can send in a video of how they are going to have a smoke-free Christmas this year, with the chance to win a family weekend trip to London and its attractions worth £3000.
